It is easy to get started with Google Authorship. You can display author information in search results by easily setup Google Authorship for your website. If you want to show author information in search results via Google authorship, you need to create Google + account with good human profile photo. You can verify authorship by following ways as mentioned below:

1) Link your content to your Google+ profile using a verified email address:

In this method you can setup Google authorship by a verified email address. It has following steps:

--- It is essential for you to have an E-Mail address on the same domain as your content. For example if your domain is serpwizard.com then your E-Mail address should be as ajay@serpwizard.com.

-- It is important that the articles you posted have an author name("by Ajay Choudhary"), So Google can easily understand that who wrote it.

--- Then visit the GoogleAuthorship Page and submit your E-Mail address to Google.

--- Now you can see which author data Google will extract from your website by visiting structured data testingtool.


2) Setup Google Authorship by easily linking your website content to your Google + Profile:

In this method it is not necessary to have E-Mail address on the same domain. It has following steps as:

--- First it is important to create a link to Google + profile somewhere on your website. You can use the following tag as:

--- Now You can see which author data Google will extract from your website by visiting structured data testing tool.
  
Google does not guarantee that your author information will appear in search results. Google can reject your proposal for applying author information if it found any errors or mistakes.
